Resumption of classes at the beginning of the school year" was it written on the back of La Riche Boxing Club brochure. But, it doesn’t apply to André Macé, focused at 100% and full time on his passion. “I have the same background as some young people I welcome today”, he explains. Somewhat dented. The energy and a good dose of optimism can be read on this voluntary face. André Macé has only one goal and go for it at all costs, even if it is not on a straight line. The man was, in disorder, footballer, baker, mechanic, actor, production assistant in the cinema, bodyguard, and boxer. "Since 1983, I am a sports educator at the social center Maryse Bastié in Tours in connection with the educators of youth prevention.
But it is the sport that remains the thread of this very busy life. Never out of the Jean-Marie Bialy Hall before 10pm, often going competing on the roads of France and Europe, the coach is guiding young motivated volunteers to give them the meaning still absent from their existence. An involvement which also benefited his family: his wife Carole, herself former boxer and president of the BCLR, his children, Kendall for a leisure practice, Brenda, French champion of boxing french in 2009 and Brian, champion of the world of shoe fights in 2012. The founder of the Boxing Club of Tours (1983), the League of Touraine (1986), the BCLR (1992) and finally the departmental boxing committee (1994) continues to share his experience and its energy with all those who have trouble channeling theirs. With certainty: sedentary work is not fit for him.

The Tour Event Fight is a sporting event that offers an immersion in the world of feets-fists sports during dinner-fighting nights. The organization puts forward regional, amateur and professional boxers and offers very high level fights with international fighters during tournaments for the Tour Event Fight belt or in the form of "Super Fight". Whether under K1 Rules, Kick-Boxing or Muay Thai, the tournaments are held in two editions: the winners of the semifinals meet at the next event. Fights, an aperitif, a dinner, DJs, dancers or singers, the Tour Event Fight is a real 4-hour show to see live or to rediscover onlive or on television.
The galas are also organized to promote and support concrete humanitarian or solidarity actions such as:
- raising funds for muscular dystrophy research
- purchase of carbon wheelchairs for disabled athletes
- helping specialized centers for people with Alzheimer's disease
The "Tour Event Fight" exists under this name since 2016 but is the culmination of 30 years of organization of events by André Macé.
Talent developer and fervent ambassador of pugilistic events, André has put under the lights of his events many champions such as Killy Guelladress, Kamel Jemel or Sanchaï in the various disciplines presented: French Boxing, KickBoxing, KI Rules, Muay Thai, Boxing.
From the first event held in Tours, at the sports complex des Tourettes in 1985, nearly 800 spectators came to discover an explosive fight card that brought together on the same ring Maxime Brion, French boxing champion, Philippe Paille junior boxing Europe champion and Stanislas Pauleau France junior vice-champion.
With the success of this first edition, André organizes between 1985 and 2009 one to two pugilistic events per year. These events offer to the general public high quality fighters, including: Mourad Sari, Jemel Kamel, Bakalak Simon, Steve Remblier, El Hadj Mekedem.
In 2009, new tournament formats were organized under the names of “La Nuit de la Boxe” and “La Grande Soirée de la Boxe” to present different disciplines: Boxing, Kickboxing, K1, Chauss'fight and Muay Thai
In 2011, with the democratization of Muay Thai is organized an event only dedicated to the discipline: The Night of Thai Boxing at the Tours Sports Palace. Raphael Lodra, the undisputed champion of the time was present to face Sebastien Billard.
These last two events, The Great Boxing Night and The Night Of The Thai Boxing, were renewed until 2016 before giving way to a new organization, the "Tour Event Fight", intended to be exported to the national and European level.
The Tour Event Fight could not exist without its volunteers and professionals who do not count their energy to organize twice a year a major sporting event for the region. The organization of a Tour Event Fight gather about a hundred people to offer you an evening at the crossroads between a Kickboxing Gala and a dacing show.
- 30 volunteers to serve some 80 VIP tables or 640 people,
- 20 volunteers at the control,
- 20 volunteers in logistics,
- 9 security professionals,
- 6 light and sound technicians,
- 10 audiovisual technicians for live multi-camera and communication.
For all the staff, the organization of prestigious events like the "Tour Event Fight" is a pride resulting from their common passion for pugilistic practices.
Two boxing-clubs support the organization to set up the events of the "Tour Event Fight": the Boxing Club La Riche whose training room is at the Jean-Marie Bialy sport center, and the Boxing Club Tours Nord at the Georges Carpentier sport center.
The Boxing Club La Riche is 34 years and is the legacy of the first boxing club of Touraine, the "Boxing Club Tours". He was born in 1984 with André Macé as founder and coach. In order to enjoy better equipment, the club moved to the town of La Riche and is renamed "Boxing Club La Riche" in February 1992. Still active today, it is a club where you can practice the French Boxing, K1 Rules, Kickboxing, English Boxing and Muay Thai.
In 2004, Stanislas Pauleau and his team of managers Yves Levern, Laurent Cheriou and Denis Delaveau founded The Boxing Club Tours Nord. In 2011 the two clubs pool their resources to support and promote the "Tour Event fight".
For the two organizing clubs, the Boxing Club La Riche and the Boxing Club Tours Nord, the Tour Event Fight is a way to produce their athletes and bring in Touraine the international champions of the moment, around the strong values of contact sports: Respect, Honor, and surpassing of either.
